Nigel Reed
Training Officer/Facilitator
He moved to Adelaide where he trained full time and rode in A Grade, and in 1991 represented South Australia at the National Road Cycling Championships, competing in the 100km team time trial, 180km road race and the 1 hour criterium, while doing all that, I received a qualification as a Gym Instructor.
He then became a Dance Teacher, teaching ballroom, latin and south American dancing for 20 years.
Married had a family after moving to Brisbane, where he studied and became a massage therapist, he also helped his wife run a home based day care business for 10 years. They moved to the area in 2012 where he continued the dancing and massage with short stints on cattle properties.
As a family they joined the local Emergency Services Cadet program run in conjunction with the PCYC where he has been a Leader since 2016.
Nigel was introduced to Gel Ball on his son’s 16th Birthday where they both became hooked and now play regularly as part of the Susan River Mercenaries MilSim team. Nigel also repairs and maintain the hire equipment and serve as a Trainer/Facilitator on the Operation Hard Yakka Military Youth Diversion Training Program.
